For this direction, I leaned into the idea of the Impractical Jokers as family. While the “awkward vintage portrait” trend has been explored before, it felt like a natural fit for their fan base. It’s a perfect mix of nostalgic, funny, and instantly recognizable.

The concept frames the Jokers as though they’re posing for classic family photos: stiff smiles, uncomfortable poses, outdated backdrops, and questionable wardrobe choices. The humor comes not just from the visual parody, but from how well it aligns with the show’s offbeat, self-deprecating comedy.

I created these boards to sell the concept internally, which we then took to top agencies who delivered fantastic executions.
